The front apron has been tweaked and gets new body graphics for a more eye-pleasing look.Ampere Electric has also added more graphics on the rear side body panels, behind which there’s a tail lamp cluster with a halogen setup for tail light and turn indicators. The scooter also gets a large alloy pillion grab rail and a fully-digital instrument console. This display unit is much more comprehensive than the units in other scooters from Ampere Electric in terms of display information. In addition to the three riding modes – Eco, City and Power, the Primus also gets a reverse mode. The Primus gets 12-inch alloy wheels and drum brakes on both ends, with telescopic forks at the front and dual coil springs at the rear for suspension duties.
Colours: Ampere Electric has introduced the Primus electric scooter in four different colour options, namely Royal Orange, Havelock Blue, Buck Black and Himalayan White. In all these colour options, the front apron comes with a dual-tone matte finish and the alloy wheels are black-themed.
Rivals: The Ampere Primus has been launched for Rs 1.09 lakh, which makes it a direct rival to the scooters like Ola S1, TVS iQube and Okinawa Praise Pro.
