The KTM Duke series is well known for its performance oriented nature and aggressive streetfighter deisgn language. The Duke 390 is the flagship naked motorcycle of the Austrian manufacturer. The 390 has been updated recently with a new design, a new 399cc engine, new features, and new hardware. With all these updates it has become more powerful and performance oriented. On the features front, this motorcycle offers an arsenal of tech such as Launch Control, SuperMoto ABS, Ride Modes, Traction Control, Cornering ABS, TFT display among other features. Also, the new 399cc engine produces a whooping 46 PS of power which gives an exhilarated riding experience.

Last Updated on 24th Mar'25: Recently, KTM launched the 2025 KTM 390 Duke with cruise control and a new ebony black paint finish to make this naked superfast bike even more attractive. Also, despite the advent of new features, its price remains unchanged.
The KTM 390 Duke, powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled engine, remains unchanged. However, KTM is gearing up to launch the updated 390 Adventure at IBA 2024, which will feature a redesigned look, a new engine, and advanced features.

The recently unveiled Duke 390 showcases a new design direction while preserving its classic silhouette. This update brings significant alterations, resulting in a more robust and edgy appearance. In particular, compared to the 2023 model, the LED headlight now boasts a wider profile, featuring more assertive boomerang-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). The design improvements extend to the fuel tank shrouds, which are now more prominent and pronounced, complemented by a redesigned tank. Additionally, a fresh split-seat arrangement unveils the exposed rear subframe, contributing to the bike's rejuvenated aesthetics. With its newly introduced metal fuel tank and premium surface finishes, this latest member of the Gen-3 DUKE lineup exhibits unique visual elements influenced by the KTM SUPERDUKE.
The motorcycle offers a choice between two color variants: Electronic Orange Metallic and Atlantic Blue. The Electronic Orange option features an orange-colored fuel tank, sub-frame components, alloy wheels, and a black finish on various other parts. The motorcycle's hardware features WP APEX Adjustable suspension, including front forks with 5-click rebound and compression adjustment, and a mono-shock with 5-click rebound adjustment and 10-click preload adjustment. It boasts an all-new steel trellis main frame with a pressure die-cast aluminum subframe. The braking system includes a newly added 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both supported by dual-channel Supermoto ABS with cornering capabilities. These brakes are complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels. The Duke 390 offers a seat height of 800 mm, with an optional 820 mm seat.
The introduction of a two-piece frame redesigned wheels, and brake discs have been meticulously engineered to achieve significant weight reduction across all models. The KTM 390 Duke was offered with a 10-year warranty at no extra cost, but the limited-period offer was valid only for motorcycles purchased till June 30, 2025. The warranty combined the standard coverage plus a free extended package, giving protection for up to 10 years (or around 1.25 lakh km, whichever came first) to boost long-term ownership confidence.
The 2025 KTM 390 Duke has started reaching dealerships with cruise control added as a standard feature, along with a new Ebony Black colour option. The update does not change pricing, with the bike continuing at around Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
KTM and Husqvarna announced a new ownership package offering a 5-year warranty and 1-year roadside assistance on all their motorcycles bought from April 1, 2024, at no extra cost. The warranty combines a 2-year standard coverage with an additional 3-year extended warranty (up to 45,000 km), while the RSA covers services like towing, on-site repairs and flat tyre assistance.
The 2024 KTM Duke 390 has been launched in India at Rs 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom) with bookings now open at dealerships and online. The updated motorcycle features revised styling and equipment upgrades over the previous model.
