KTM Duke 390 Now With 10 Year Warranty Until June 30

The KTM 390 Duke received a significant overhaul in 2023 with the launch of its new-generation model. The motorcycle saw major upgrades in its design, engine, and features, resulting in a more premium and exhilarating riding experience. In March 2025, KTM launched the latest iteration of the 390 Duke, which introduced cruise control, along with new colour options, further enhancing its appeal among tech-savvy and performance-hungry riders. KTM has become the latest two-wheeler brand to roll out a 10-year warranty program, but there's a catch, it's exclusively available on the 390 Duke. This extended warranty is valid until June 30, 2025, and like KTM's previous coverage, it comes at no additional cost to buyers.

Previously, KTM offered a 2-year standard warranty, followed by an additional 3 years of extended coverage for free. Now, this new 10-year program not only replaces the previous format but is also fully transferable, adding further value for future owners. This announcement closely follows Aprilia's recent move to sweeten its warranty package for the RS 457 and Tuono 457 by offering an extra 1 year or 12,000 km of coverage. With the Tuono 457 being a direct rival to the KTM 390 Duke, KTM's bold new warranty initiative gives the Austrian streetfighter a serious edge, at least in terms of ownership experience.

KTM 390 Duke Powertrain

From a performance standpoint, the KTM 390 Duke features the proven 398.3cc LC4c single-cylinder engine that delivers 46 PS of power and 39 Nm of torque. It's packed with premium hardware and electronics, including launch control, a 5-inch full-color TFT display, multiple ride modes, traction control, a slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, upside-down (USD) forks, fully adjustable suspension, a quickshifter, and the signature lightweight trellis frame. These features combine to offer a dynamic, track-ready riding experience while retaining daily usability.
Verdict
The 10 year warranty is yet another gift that more and more bike makers are handing out to buyers, with some like the KTM, at no extra cost. This is particularly aimed at driving consumer trust as well as belief on their own product quality. The brand has been rescued this time from its meek future, but it would be intersting to see if Bajaj can continue this journey and maybe rescue it altogether after some time.
