KTM RC 160

The KTM RC 160 was launched in India at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a 159 cc engine with strong performance, sharp sporty styling and premium features like fully LED lighting and a digital console. It’s positioned as a higher-end 160 cc sportbike with aggressive ergonomics and handling.

The KTM RC 160 was leaked ahead of launch, revealing it as a new entry-level supersport positioned to replace the RC 125 and sit below the RC 200. It was expected to retain aggressive RC styling, use a - 160cc engine, and be priced slightly above the 160 Duke to rival bikes like the Yamaha R15.

The KTM RC 160 was spotted testing ahead of launch, revealing it as KTM’s most affordable fully-faired RC, positioned below the RC 200 and likely replacing the RC 125. The bike is expected to share the 164cc engine and hardware from the 160 Duke, along with sporty RC styling and premium features like LED lighting and a digital console. 

KTM is preparing to launch the RC 160, a fully-faired supersport that will be based on the 160 Duke platform and is expected to replace the RC 125. It is likely to use a 164.2cc liquid-cooled engine producing around 19 PS and 15.5 Nm, along with premium hardware like WP APEX suspension and dual-channel ABS. 

Reports suggested the KTM RC 160 could debut alongside the Duke 160, marking KTM’s push into the entry-level performance segment with both faired and naked versions launching together. The RC 160 is expected to share the same 160cc liquid-cooled engine and platform as the Duke 160, while becoming the brand’s most affordable RC model and targeting rivals like the Yamaha R15.
