Suzuki Gixxer 250

• The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is one of the class's most visually appealing motorcycles. Suzuki used the same design aesthetic for the Gixxer 250 SF as it did for the Gixxer SF, which has a lesser capacity.  The bike sports triple-beam LED headlights up front and a big, powerful fuel tank. Additionally, the bike boasts split step-up seats, a twin exhaust system with chrome tips, and appealing colour schemes. The feature set of the motorcycles is still very similar to that of the previous model. It comes in two colours: Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Triton Blue.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 from the BS6 is a great performer. The 249 cc single-cylinder engine in the Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS6 complies with BS6 regulations. The Super Splendor Xtec comes equipped with enhanced features that aid the rider. The key update lies in the introduction of a new digital console, resembling the one found on the Splendor Xtec. It features an orange backlight and chrome accents. Among the notable features, Bluetooth phone connectivity stands out, providing the rider with SMS alerts, missed call alerts, phone call alerts, and even information about the phone's battery level. Furthermore, the Xtec model includes a USB charging point, side-stand engine cut-off, idle start-stop (i3s) functionality, and a combined braking system.

The Hero Super Splendor Xtec is equipped with an OBD-2-A-compliant engine, featuring a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled configuration that retains its impressive power output of 10.7 bhp. With a peak torque of 10.6 Nm, the engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox for smooth transmission. According to Hero, the bike has been tested by ARAI and is claimed to deliver up to 68 kmpl of fuel economy.

The motorcycle has dimensions of 2,042mm in length, 752mm in width, and 1,092mm in height. It features a seat height of 793mm and a wheelbase measuring 1,267mm. The hardware of the motorcycle includes telescopic front forks, telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear with a 5-step adjustment, 18-inch tubeless alloy wheels, front brakes consisting of a 240mm disc or 130mm drum, and a rear 130mm drum brake.
