Suzuki Gixxer 250 Detailed Review
- The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is one of the class's most visually appealing motorcycles. Suzuki used the same design aesthetic for the Gixxer 250 SF as it did for the Gixxer SF, which has a lesser capacity. The bike sports triple-beam LED headlights up front and a big, powerful fuel tank. Additionally, the bike boasts split step-up seats, a twin exhaust system with chrome tips, and appealing colour schemes. The feature set of the motorcycles is still very similar to that of the previous model. It comes in two colours: Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Triton Blue.
- The street naked motorcycle has a single-unit aluminium handlebar, an 800mm seat height, and relatively rear-set footpegs for the rider's comfort. The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is one of the lightest and most comfortable models in its class, with a curb weight of 156 kg, boosting its flexibility. It has a full LED lighting kit for the headlights and taillights, as well as a fashionable and useful stubby dual-port exhaust end-can. Both a black variant without stickers and a black version in a sporty tone with racing decals are available for the motorcycle.
Summary
Suzuki Gixxer does not have a very modern design but it still manages to look handsome with its muscular body panels.
Gixxer 250 body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 165 mm |

At this pricing point, the Gixxer 250 has reasonable size for a quarter-liter street naked. 2010 mm in length, 800 mm in width, and 1035 mm in height make up the motorbike. The powerful tank has a capacity of 12 litres of gasoline and has a wheelbase length of 1340 mm. Due to its 800mm seat height, it may be used to potter by riders of all heights. Additionally, it features a split seat option for maximum comfort, and the footpegs are slightly set back to provide the rider with a sporty posture. It weighs 156 kg, which is rather little for a 250cc motorcycle. Additionally, the motorcycle's 165 mm of ground clearance make it simpler for it to navigate over speed bumps.
Summary
Suzuki Gixxer is a sporty naked bike that has a high street presence due to its good proportions and muscular design.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 from the BS6 is a great performer. The 249 cc single-cylinder engine in the Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS6 complies with BS6 regulations. Fuel injection and an oil cooling system are features of the engine. The engine still generates 26.1 bhp of power, but its maximum torque has dropped to 22.2 Nm from 22.2 Nm. A fluid 6-Speed Transmission is mated to this engine. On the other hand, when pushed forcefully, the engine is graceful and makes a lovely sound.
Although the bike lacks an adjustable clutch and slip-and-assist levers, it still comes with a lot of features and acceptable specifications for the price. The bike has mono-shocks at the back and telescopic forks up front. Longer journeys can be readily completed, and there is enough power to spend the entire day driving in city traffic. The ARAI-rated value for fuel efficiency for a motorcycle in this sector is 35 kmpl, which is quite good.
Summary
Gixxer is a stress-free motorcycle meant to ride whole day long without stress. The performance of the engine is thrilling for a motorcycle of its segment while the fuel mileage is pretty good, too. The engine is also high on refinement and offers a smooth power delivery.
Gixxer 250 engine specifications:
| Transmission | Manual |
| Mileage | 35-38.5 |
| Engine | 249 cc |
The Suzuki Gixxer has a mono-shock in the back and a set of telescopic forks up front. It comes with radial rubber-wrapped 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels. Additionally, it has front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS assistance. The brakes bite gradually, and the input from the levers is likewise decent. The input from the levers is also fairly decent, and the brakes bite gradually.
To complement the motorcycle's mass-forward design, Suzuki created a full LED package for the BS6 avatar, modernising both the headlights and the taillights. A few enticing characteristics include the bike's wider tyres, clip-on handlebars, split seat, grab rails, fuel injection technology, twin-muffler exhaust, stronger front suspension, and larger front disc (300 mm). It's also crucial to remember that Suzuki was the only manufacturer to use an oil cooling system in engines, which led to lighter, faster engines with outstanding performance for a range of uses, from city riding in traffic to lengthy highway journeys.
Summary
The Suzuki Gixxer 250 comes with a sufficiently long list of features, especially at the price point at which it is sold. Also, it gets pretty wide tires and a potent braking system.
