Last Updated on 19th Oct'25 Design: The 2026 Genesis G80 showcases a refined exterior with a revised double-layered Crest Grille featuring a new mesh pattern, thinner Matrix LED headlights, a restyled front bumper, and redesigned 20-inch wheels. The rear includes a redesigned bumper with hidden exhaust tips for non-Sport trims. The G80 Sport variant introduces a unique "double-layered G-Matrix pattern" grille, larger air vents, and distinct front and rear bumpers.
Features and Comfort : The interior of the 2026 G80 features a new 27-inch integrated wide OLED display spanning the dashboard, replacing separate screens for a seamless experience. Enhanced with Genesis’s latest infotainment software, it includes a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, an improved touch-based climate control panel, and a "crystal-like" shift-by-wire gear selector. Improved noise insulation and an optional aroma diffuser system ensure a luxurious and comfortable ride for Indian buyers.
Powertrain: The international-spec 2026 G80 offers two engine options, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and available all-wheel drive. The 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 delivers 300 hp and 424 Nm of torque. The 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 provides 375 hp at 5,800 rpm and 530 Nm at 1,300 rpm, offering robust performance tailored for Indian driving conditions.
Hardware: Equipped with advanced technology, the G80 includes an adaptive suspension that adjusts to road conditions and rear-wheel steering for enhanced agility, especially in the Sport models. Standard rear-wheel drive is available with an AWD option for the 2.5T, while the 3.5T comes with all-wheel drive, ensuring stability and control on varied Indian terrains

India Launch and Expected Price: During the official virtual conference, Hyundai India recently announced that the Genesis G80 will be launched in India by Q2 of 2027. The car is expected to be available at a starting price of Rs. 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
