Last Updated On 20th Sep'23 : Hyundai is marking the eighth birthday of its high-performance N brand by introducing the newly revamped Elantra N. The 2024 Hyundai Elantra N boasts a bold new look and upgraded technology. It's worth noting that the Hyundai Elantra had a previous stint in the Indian market before it was eventually withdrawn from sale.

2022 Hyundai Elantra Features

The new-age Elantra will get features loaded up to the brim. It will get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, digital instrument cluster, automatic HVAC function, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats and more.

The interior of the 2022 Hyundai Elantra will be more premium than before. It now gets an all-black cabin, four-spoke steering wheel, aircraft styled gear lever, soft-touch material on the dashboard, door pads, leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear knob and other things.

2022 Hyundai Elantra Engine Options

The current-gen Elantra that was on sale in the Indian market used to come with two engine options – 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine. The new-gen Elantra is expected to come in multiple powertrain options. If Hyundai decides to bring in the 2.0L petrol motor then the torque converter gearbox will now be replaced with a CVT unit.

The South Korean carmaker might bring in the 1.4L turbocharged petrol motor too to the line-up. This unit produces as much as 138 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 242 Nm. A 7-speed DCT will be paired with this engine option. Do expect the same 1.5L oil burner that is seen in the Alcazar and Creta. This unit produces 113 bhp of power with 250 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AT will be seen as an option.

2022 Hyundai Elantra Price And Launch

We can expect the launch of Hyundai Elantra by early 2023 only. As far as the pricing is concerned then do expect it to sit between Rs 20 to Rs 25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
