Mahindra XEV 7e Latest Update
Last Updated on 6th Jan'25 Design - Spotted multiple times, its digital images have also leaked. This SUV is essentially an electric version of the Mahindra XUV700. However, the front end is identical to the one seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e, with a long LED strip running across the bonnet lid and ending in an inverted L shape. One distinctive styling feature is the two chrome-finished skid plates, which set it apart from the XEV 9e.
Power and Performance - Most likely, it will be launched with two battery packs designed for the BE 6 and XEV 9e: one with 59 kWh and the other with 79 kWh. Specifications are yet to be disclosed, but we know that the 79 kWh battery produces 231 PS, and with this power, the XEV 9e accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds. Therefore, the XEV 7e is expected to take around the same time. One major mechanical change the 7e could come with is an AWD drivetrain.
Range -The range of the 79 kWh battery is said to be 682 km, and the 59 kWh battery is expected to offer over 500 km, according to Mahindra. Clearly, it's too early to discuss the range, but the XEV 7e will likely offer a range within this bracket as well.
Features - Talking about expected features, the 7e will borrow a lot from the 9e again and offer tech such as a 43-inch wide cinemascope, a head-up display with augmented reality, an infinity roof with 16 million hues, 16 Harman Kardon speakers, drive modes, power-operated driver’s seats, autopark, and a digital key.
Rivals: XEV 7e, when launched, will have no competition, as there is currently no other mass-market 7-seater electric SUV. The closest competitor is the BYD eMax 7.
