Mahindra has been seriously working on the EV counterpart of one of its most loved SUVs, Yes, you guessed it right, I am talking about the XUV700 EV. It is expected to be named the XUV.e8, the EV version of the XUV 700 EV will be high on tech compared to what the ICE version gets. Mahindra XUV700 EV Revealed

The Mahindra XUV700 EV gets a similar design as the currently launched XEV 9e. It has the same inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs and there is a split headlight setup. The key difference between the XEV 7e and XEV 9e is that the XUV700 EV carries over some major design elements from its ICE version while the XEV 9e looks more like a coupe SUV.

The XUV700 EV is expected to replicate the XEV 9e in terms of features. These include a premium audio system, multi-zone climatic control, ventilated seats with memory function and a big panoramic sunroof. On the safety front, it will have features such as ADAS level 2, a 360 degree camera and up to seven airbags which is again similar to the XEV 9e.

In terms of interior, the XUV700 EV is expected to feature a dual-tone black and white cabin theme. The dashboard panel gets stripes with a piano black finish. For the infotainment, you get triple screen setup, including three 12.3 inches displays. The electrified XUV700 will get a two-spoke steering wheel with the brand's new logo for electric cars.

Mahindra XUV700 EV: Expected Price

We expect Mahindra to launch the upcoming E-SUV with a starting price tag of Rs. 21 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the XUV700 EV will lock horns with the likes of the upcoming Tata Safari EV.
