Last Updated on 15th July'24 : Engine : The Austral's hybrid setup features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 1.7kWh battery powering an electric motor. Together, they produce a combined output of 197bhp under Renault's 'E-Tech 200' powertrain. Renault asserts that this setup allows for electric-only driving in urban settings up to 80 percent of the time.

Mileage : It claims a mileage of 25.5 kmpl.

Dimensions : It measures 4510mm in length, 1664 mm in height and 1825 mm in width.

Features : The Astral offers a plethora of modern amenities like a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, fully digital instrument cluster, 485 watts 12 speakers Harman Kardon sound system, ADAS, Drive modes, heads-up display, 360-degree surround view monitor, modular seating adjustments, and much more.

Safety : In terms of safety, you get features like ABD, EBD, multiple airbags, 360-surround view monitor, ADAS with 30 assistance features, and more.

Colours : It comes in a total of 10 colour options with shades of Blue, Black, Red, And Silver with both solid and dual-tone options.

Price : It is estimated to be priced around Rs. 40 lakhs ex-showroom.

Over priced, 30-33 L would make the price more justified for Indian standards, Indians tend to buy either affordable or luxury there is no in between. So Indians would tend to for the 30L price consider a for or Toyota, well now Toyota since ford left. But in general adorable… maybe increased promotion for safety and comfort features Combined with a lower price would give it a standing chance in the Indian economy.
