Citroen C5 Aircross

Citroen has introduced a new standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km for its cars in India, improving overall ownership assurance. The warranty applies to its ICE lineup, including models like the C3, Aircross, Basalt, and C5 Aircross, while the electric eC3 continues with a different warranty package.

Citroen has discontinued the base ‘Feel’ variant of the C5 Aircross, leaving only the Shine and Shine Dual Tone variants in the lineup, with prices now starting at around Rs 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

The next-generation Citroen C5 Aircross has been spotted testing internationally, confirming that the new model will also get a fully electric version alongside other powertrain options. The test mule was identified as an EV due to details like the absence of an exhaust and the presence of a battery pack, with the SUV expected to make its global debut soon.

Citroen announced massive festive discounts on its lineup, with the C3 receiving benefits of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, while the premium C5 Aircross was offered discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh for a limited period.

The Citroën C5 Aircross became more affordable with the introduction of a new ‘Feel’ variant, which brought the SUV’s starting price down to Rs 36.91 lakh (ex-showroom). However, with this update, the higher-spec Shine variant saw a price increase of around Rs 50,000.
