The motor produces 7.65 horsepower of power and 9 Nm of torque. The motor has good beginning acceleration and gives passable performance for city commuting. The Dio, like every other 110cc scooter in its class, does not have a particularly strong top-end performance. The engine does, however, achieve a high speed of about 83 kmph, however it takes a long time to get there from the 70 kmph point. The car's high-speed stability is also subpar.

It's interesting to note that it also keeps the completely digital instrument cluster with additional data like fuel range, average fuel efficiency, and real-time fuel efficiency.
