The Honda Dio has a stylish design for a scooter. It boasts a dynamic posture and an aggressive design that give it a striking appearance. The Dio has a dynamic look and a sporting touch to its design. The scooter features more angular body shapes that give it a trendy appearance. It is available in two different variants- standard and deluxe. The Honda Dio is particularly well-liked by young people, and its appeal is mostly due to the way it appears. The Dio has matured with the BS6 upgrade and now seems even better than before. Seven distinct colour options are offered for the Honda Dio BS6. They are Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic. Sports Red, Candy Jazzy Blue, Vibrant Orange, and Matte Sangria Red Metallic. 

Apart from the difference in colour, both the variants have a redesigned headlamp, position lamp and tail lamp. The new headlamp is ultra-stylish and comes equipped with an LED that gives good illumination for better visibility at night. In addition to this, the scooter gets funky graphics that run across the sides and the front. It also has carbon fibre-like elements which make it look attractive. At the rear, the Dio gets a cool and edgy looking split grab rail. The scooter also has a stylish muffler protector that protects the feet from feeling the heat. Last but not the least, the seat of the Dio is comfortable and has a premium feel to it.

The BS6-compliant Honda Dio has a contemporary design that gives it a stunning appearance. The paint schemes of the vehicle adds to the premium look of the scooter while the aggressive design elements give the scooter a sporty stance.

The new Honda Dio has the following dimensions: 1808 mm in length, 723 mm in width, and 1150 mm in height. The scooter's seat length is listed at 650 mm and its wheelbase is 1260 mm. In comparison to its competitors, the scooter has a 160 mm ground clearance, which is a respectable amount. The new Honda Dio BS6 is a gearless scooter with a kerb weight of 105 kg and a fuel tank size of 5.3 litres.

Summary

Honda Dio has good ground clearance when compared to its rivals like the TVS Jupiter. The scooter weighs just 105kgs and hence, it is easy to handle it in traffic.

Engine Performance and Mileage 4.5

The 109.51cc fan-cooled, 4 Stroke, SI engine that powers the Honda Dio complies with BS6, and it is coupled to a clutch-type automatic gearbox. The motor produces 7.65 horsepower of power and 9 Nm of torque. The motor has good beginning acceleration and gives passable performance for city commuting. The Dio, like every other 110cc scooter in its class, does not have a particularly strong top-end performance. The engine does, however, achieve a high speed of about 83 kmph, however it takes a long time to get there from the 70 kmph point. The car's high-speed stability is also subpar.

Additionally, the BS6 motor has been improved to the point that it no longer has an audible idle tone. Although the footpeg, floorboard, and handleboard are barely vibrated while riding at moderate speeds, the scooter does seem a little rough. However, when the speed rises, the ride quality significantly improves.

 

A sensor-based PGM-FI system on the Dio maintains the ideal fuel-air ratio. This aids in the engine's efficient combustion, which produces a stable output of power and increased mileage. The Dio is now a fuel-efficient scooter with a range of 48–53 km per litre under typical riding circumstances because of the PGM-FI technology.

Summary

The Honda Dio offers good performance with a great pick-up. The scooter is also quite fuel-efficient and it delivers around 48-53 kmpl mileage in real-world riding conditions.

Tyres, Brakes and Features 4

Honda Dio's foundation is an underbone-style frame with great stiffness. A telescopic fork at the front and a 3-step adjustable type spring-loaded hydraulic suspension at the back handle the scooter's suspension functions. The Honda Dio provides a comfortable and steady ride. Speed limits or damaged sections of road are easily crossed by it.

 

Drum brakes of 130 mm in size are used on both the front and back of the Dio. The Combi-brake System (CBS), which automatically applies the front brake to stop the scooter while you use the rear drum brake, works in conjunction with the braking system to stop the vehicle. This guarantees effective braking and helps the cyclist stop suddenly.

The Dio also gets tubeless tyres in the front and rear. The front tyre is sized 90/90-12 54J, whereas, the rear tyre is of the size 90/100-10 53J. Tyres of these sizes are known for providing good resistance against aquaplaning and should ensure a good amount of grip on bad sections of the road. 

On the features front, ACG quiet starting, side stand engine inhibitor, external fuel filler cap, dual function switch combining seat and fuel lid opener, front pocket, and a new DC LED headlight are additional highlights for the new Dio. It's interesting to note that it also keeps the completely digital instrument cluster with additional data like fuel range, average fuel efficiency, and real-time fuel efficiency.

Summary

The Honda Dio packs in decent hardware and offers a good ride quality. The Dio is also quite feature-loaded.

Sporty Design Yet Comfortable Ride 4

• The Honda Dio 125 boasts a sharp front profile with an apron-mounted LED headlamp flanked by sharp LED turn indicators. It also gets a handlebar-mounted LED DRL. The side profile of the scooter also boasts sharp edges, distinctive dual-tone stickering, and a split grab rail at the rear. 
• The Dio 125 looks similar to the Dio 110, but the 125cc version has different colour options. The new Dio 125 is available in five colour options:  five vibrant colours: Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Imperial Red, and Pearl Igneous Black.

Reliable & Efficient 125cc Engine 4

• The Dio 125 is powered by a 123.92cc air-cooled engine producing 8.3 PS of power and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine is now OBD-2B compliant to meet the latest emission standards. The new engine generates slightly more power and torque than the previous model.
• Honda engines are known for their refinement and efficiency. The new Dio 125 comes with idle start/stop to give better efficiency. Moreover, the engine is aided by eSP (Enhanced Smart Power), which maximizes the combustion efficiency and minimizes friction to offer a smooth and efficient ride.

Hardware 4

• The 2025 Honda Dio 125 continues to get the same mechanicals and hardware setup. It continues to ride on 90/90 12-inch front and 90/100 10-inch rear tyre. The braking duties are handled by front disc and rear drum brakes with combi braking system. Meanwhile, the base variant gets drum brakes on both ends. 
• The suspension setup consists of telescopic front forks and an adjustable single spring shock absorber at the rear. This configuration provides a comfortable ride by absorbing bumps during city rides. It remains stable, allowing you to ride the scooter for extended periods with ease.
