2022 Kawasaki Versys 650 deliveries in India have commenced. The updated bike comes with colour options & new features.
Kawasaki India introduced the new Versys not long ago. Now, the official deliveries of the 2022 Kawasaki Versys 650 ADV have commenced in India. The company has begun the deliveries to the buyers who pre-booked the bike. The new Versys has landed with a couple of changes. These changes range from cosmetic to feature updates. The launch price of the 2022 Versys is Rs 7.36 lakh ex-showroom, India.

2022 Versys 650 Details
Comparing it to the previous gen model, the new Versys has updated substantially. The first change to the notice is the addition of a new headlight unit. The twin-pod headlight has been carried forward from the bigger Versys 1000. Additionally, the windscreen has now grown taller. Meanwhile, the rest of the design remains more or less the same as the previous-gen bike.
However, the biggest change is the addition of the new TFT colour display. Additionally, it provides a connected riding experience as it has Bluetooth connectivity as well. The rider gets the SMS, calls, & other important alerts on the screen. The TFT display also holds information like the gear shift indicator, gear position indicator, KRTC (traction control) modes, and even the riding modes. The rider can easily toggle between these modes via the toggle switches given on the left switch tube.
Kawasaki is offering the updated Versys in two colours - Lime Green & Metallic Phantom Silver. However, the 650cc parallel-twin engine remains unaltered. This engine is capable of making a peak power of 65.7 bhp & 61 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, it has multiple riding modes & a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch.
Its main rivals in India are - Suzuki V-Strom 650XT & Triumph Tiger Sport 660.
