2025 Hero Splendor Plus Coming With Disc Brake, New Colours - Spy Shots

Hero Splendor Plus is one of the best-selling commuter motorcycles in the Indian market. Over the years, the brand has released multiple updates for the motorcycle in terms of features, colour options, graphics, and more. According to a recently surfaced video, Hero Motocorp seems to be preparing to launch the 2025 model with enhanced features and a new colour option. 2025 Hero Splendor Plus

Last year, Hero Motocorp gave one of the biggest updates to the Splendor Plus XTEC model by adding a disc brake. Now, the brand is all set to add a disc brake to the regular Splendor Plus model. The Splendor Plus is all set to get the same 240mm front disc brake as the XTEC model. The addition of the disc brake will replace the drum brake setup. However, we believe that the brand will continue to offer the drum brake version as an option. Other mechanical parts will remain the same, it will continue to get telescopic front forks, dual spring shocks at the rear, and a rear drum brake.

On the other hand, the video has also revealed a new Candy Red colour for the Splendor Plus. The Splendor was quite popular in its red shade, and the brand seems to be planning to bring this colour back. Along with the Candy Red colour, the brand might also offer the Matte Axis Grey colour as a regular offering for every variant.

The Splendor will continue to get the same 97.2 cc engine producing 8.02 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This engine is known for its commendable mileage and easy to maintain nature.
