The upcoming Pulsar models will get mechanical updates, updated graphics, new features, and a slightly updated design. The motorcycles have already started reaching dealerships, and the images have already surfaced on the internet, showing the complete changes to the new Pulsar models. One of the biggest updates is the addition of a single-cradle frame that replaces the older double-cradle frame. Moreover, the new Pulsar 125 & 150 will now come with a monoshock absorber at the rear instead of gas-charged dual-spring shock absorbers. Both motorcycles will offer the same setup for the frame and rear suspension. However, the front will continue to offer telescopic forks, both will offer 17-inch wheels and a front disc brake; and the 125 version will get an optional rear disc brake, while the 150 is expected to get a rear disc brake as standard.

The new generation of the Pulsar 125 & 150 will boast a redesigned LED headlamp setup, new graphics, a subtly updated split taillamp, and updated pillion grab rails. The motorcycles are expected to get new colour options as well. The spy pictures revealed a redesigned exhaust as well, which looks more sporty and appealing. Apart from this, the overall design of the motorcycles remains similar and keeps the original silhouette of the classic Pulsar.
New Features

With the new-generation models, Bajaj will make the Pulsar 125 & 150 more modern and feature-loaded. The spy shots of the motorcycles have revealed a new coloured TFT instrument cluster, or it might be a colour LCD console depending on the variant. However, we can expect this new cluster to come with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation support, call and SMS alerts, along with other connected features. Other features on the motorcycles are expected to include a Type-C charging port, hazard lamp, single-channel ABS on the 125cc version, and optional dual-channel ABS on the 150cc version, among other features to make both motorcycles more modern.
Updated Engine
As per reports on the internet, the upcoming Pulsar 125 & Pulsar 150 will come with updated engine options. The 125cc version will get a new 125cc engine producing around 12 PS of power and 11 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the Pulsar 150 will also get a new engine producing 14 PS of power and 13 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The 150cc version is also expected to get an oil cooler, which was seen in the spy images; the current-gen Pulsar 150 misses out on this.
End Note
With the updated chassis, engine, and design, the upcoming Pulsar 125 & Pulsar 150 will become more potent rivals to the Honda SP 125, TVS Raider 125, and other 125cc motorcycles, while the Pulsar 150 will continue to compete with the Honda SP 160 and Yamaha FZ-FI. Bajaj Pulsar is one of the longest-selling nameplates in the Indian market, and customers trust the brand for this product. Bajaj's vast sales and service network also helps the brand gain more customers. It will be interesting to see how customers respond to the updated Pulsar 125 and the Pulsar 150.
