Skoda Auto India has unveiled the 2026 Slavia facelift, more than four years after the sedan first went on sale in February 2022. The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift brings a new set of features, mechanical upgrades and more, all based on customer feedback. So, what's new in terms of exterior design, interior features and engine options? Let's find out below.
2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch

The Skoda Slavia facelift receives several changes to its exterior design. This includes blacked out LED headlights, though the shape remains familiar to the outgoing model. The grille has received new chrome inserts, giving the front a more attractive and elegant look.
Down below, the bumper is all new, with a new pattern that gives it a sportier look. It now houses four parking sensors, and even the housing for the fog lamps is redesigned.
On the side profile, the Slavia wears new dual tone alloy wheels, finished in all black on the Monte Carlo edition. With the 1.5L TSI engine, the rear wheels also get disc brakes with red callipers.

Other visible updates include UV cut glass, which protects against ultraviolet rays and gives the windows a green tint. Talking about the rear profile, the internals of the tail lamps have seen a few changes, but the overall design remains the same. There's also a boot lid spoiler, Skoda lettering over a mesh pattern, and a new bumper. At the rear, the overall changes are minimal. Skoda has also expanded the colour palette to 10 options, with two new additions: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige. The rest of the colours are:
- Artic Silver
- Cappuccino Beige
- Shimla Green
- Brilliant Silver
- Candy White
- Carbon Steel
- Steel Grey
- Lava Blue
- Cherry Red
- Deep Black
2026 Skoda Slavia Interior

The overall layout of the interior is similar as before but the new changes are done to the screens. The Skoda Slavia infotainment screen of 10.1 inch now comes with new interface and integerates Google AI assistant, and finally the 360-parking camera has reached the car which means Skoda Auto India has listened to the customers feedback. Now, the other new change is the 10.25 inch digital drivers display which comes with turn-by-turn navigation, and the screen is taken from Octavia RS.
It also comes with multiple drive modes, and look cool. Other mechanical change this car has is the new variable geometry compressor, which means the car ac performance will be better than outgoing model. This is a positive change, and reflects that Skoda Auto India is listening and reading to whatever criticism they recieve.

Rest, it continues with existing features at front such as: 6-way power adjustable front seats, with ventilation function, and single pane sunroof, and ambient lights.
Though biggest new addition is in rear seats, and that is advent of massaging function at rear, which is not even found in the cars above its segment. So, Skoda Slavia facelift comes with long and rich list of features now.
New Features:
- Google AI powered infotainment screen
- New 10.25 inch digital driver display with turn by turn navigation
- Rear massaging seats
- 360-parking camera
- New ac compressor
- Dual tone alloy wheels
2026 Skoda Slavia Engine and Gearbox
In this department too, Skoda has made changes and new additions. The 1.0L TSI engine now gets a new 8-speed torque converter gearbox, meaning the outgoing 6-speed torque converter unit is replaced, while the 6-speed manual remains unchanged. This new gearbox will result in smoother gearshifts, better fuel efficiency and improved power delivery. Nothing changes when it comes to the 1.5L TSI engine though, which continues to be offered only with a 7-speed DSG.
Engine | 1.0L TSI | 1.5L TSI |
|---|---|---|
E20 Complaint | Yes | Yes |
Power | 115 PS | 150 PS |
Torque | 178 Nm | 250 Nm |
Gearbox | 6-MT/ 8-AT | 7-DSG |
Our Verdict
Skoda Slavia is not trying to reinvent itself, just sharpening it. There are no new changes to its design, just upgrades which elevate the overall experience. Now, even with rear massaging seats and USB Type C, sun blinds are still missing, something you can find in the base variants of Kia cars costing less than Rs 10 lakh. Even if you opt for the top variant here, you won't get it. Plus, even with this update, Skoda hasn't given it Level 2 ADAS, which rivals like the Honda City and Hyundai Verna offer. So it still isn't the most feature loaded car. But yes, it no longer feels short on features, and has something to brag about. Overall, it's a good update and will generate more sales than before for the brand.
