Aprilia RS 457 Warranty Now Covers Up to 4 Years Or 48,000 Km
The updated warranty for the Aprilia RS 457 comes in the wake of engine-related concerns raised by a few owners. Responding to the issue, Aprilia India clarified that the reported problems were linked to 'unauthorised aftermarket modifications and irregular service schedules.' Launched in December 2023, the RS 457 is Aprilia's first motorcycle to be locally manufactured at the Piaggio Group's Baramati facility in Maharashtra. It was later joined by its street-naked sibling, the Tuono 457, introduced in February 2025.
The Aprilia RS 457 comes well-equipped with features like ride-by-wire throttle, dual-channel ABS, multiple riding modes, a full LED lighting setup, and a 5-inch digital TFT instrument console. To enhance its appeal further, Aprilia also offers a range of optional accessories, including a rear seat cowl, USB charging port, TPMS, and a bi-directional quickshifter, allowing buyers to personalise their ride for both performance and convenience.

Engine Details
Powering the Aprilia RS 457 is a 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers 47 bhp and 48 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This setup strikes a fine balance between performance and everyday usability, making it an appealing choice for both new and experienced riders. Notably, it also gets a naked sibling named the Tuono 457 with the same parallel twin engine.
Verdict
The RS 457 has been one successful model for the brand which offers a pretty good perfromance and the overall package with the amount of features it has on offer. Although some issues came up around the reliability of the bike which were effectively clearead out by the brand as due to the after market modifications. And with this extended waranty, it will only make the ownership experience better and more comforting than before for those who like to keep their ride stock.
