Aprilia RS 457 Official Specs & Brochure Leaked - Price Reveal Today!

Aprilia is going to launch its first affordable sports bike in India today. The grand reveal of the Aprilia RS 457 will take place at India Bike Week 2023 in Goa. Aprilia RS 457 Engine Details

Aprilia has made a brand new 457cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine for the RS 457. This engine will generate a peak power of 47.6 bhp at 9,400 rpm. The peak torque will be 43.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm. It means that this engine will be a high-revving engine with a redline close to 10,000 rpm. Its primary rival, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 produces less power & torque in comparison to the RS 457. Adding to this performance will be a slick 6-speed transmission with a slipper assist clutch.

Design & Features

While the design of the RS 457 has already been revealed, it looks like a baby RS 660. Also, the super sports riding posture will suit mid-level track riders who want to learn the technicalities of a 600cc sports bike. The sharp styling is supported by twin LED headlights and a bright LED taillight. Also, it gets a 5-inch digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it has three riding modes to alter the power & performance. There is also an option to buy the Quickshifter, which will help track riding.

Aprilia RS 457 Specs & Launch Price

Aprilia has loaded the RS 457 with 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels. The wet weight of the bike is just 175 kg; indicating fast acceleration. The fuel tank capacity is 13-liters for long riding, and the double-beam aluminium frame will provide agile handling. At an 800mm seat height, the RS 457 will be suitable for every rider. The launch of RS 457 will take place today in the second half. The company has already made it clear that it won't be a very affordable bike. But it'll also not be priced at a very steep premium. We expect that Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 3.8 lakh is the suitable price tag for the RS 457.
