Ather Energy has started the deliveries of the recently launched Rizta electric scooter. The company has currently begun pushing the deliveries in some selected cities which include Pune, Ahmedabad, Agra, Jaipur, and Andhra Pradesh. The brand will soon start delivering the vehicle to other cities too. The Ather Rizta is the first family-centric electric scooter by Ather Energy in India. The electric scooter is based on the Ather 450X and is available in two variants in India- S and Z. Ather Rizta Design
The Ather Rizta carries a simpler design when compared to other scooters in the brand's portfolio. The electric scooter has large body panels and a longer seat. However, the longer seat on offer has resulted in a bigger boot space. Overall, the scooter has good ergonomics which caters to the demand of its targeted customers.
Ather Rizta Features
The Rizta gets features such as a 7-inch colour TFT screen which supports Bluetooth Connectivity and navigation. However, it is noteworthy that despite being based on the 450X, the UI on Rizta's screen is different and gets the "deepview" LCD panel as the Ather 450S. Apart from this, the electric scooter gets three ride modes- Smart, Eco and Zip and a traction control system.
Ather Rizta Powertrain
The Rizta electric scooter is currently on offer in two variants- S and Z. The base S variant comes equipped with a 2.9 kWh battery. On the other hand, The Z variant is available in two battery pack options- 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. The Z variant provides a real-life range of 125 km on a single charge.
