Hero Motocorp Join Hands With Zero Motorcycles For Premium E-Vehicle

The largest two-wheeler producer in the world is Hero Motorcorp. In the Indian market, the brand has consistently ranked first in terms of monthly sales. The company is making significant investments in the development of electric vehicles as the nation transitions to electric mobility. The company recently debuted the Hero Vida electric two-wheeler brand as well as the Vida V1 electric scooter, its first electric vehicle. Now that the brand is moving forward in e--mobility space, it has announced a partnership with Zero Motorcycles, a US-based producer of high-end electric motorcycles and powertrains.

Hero Motocorp & Zero Motorcycles Partnership

In order to work together to produce high-end electric motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp and Zero Motorcycles have signed agreements. With this partnership, Hero MotoCorp's large production, sourcing, and marketing capabilities are combined with Zero's expertise in creating electric motorcycles and powertrains.

The Board of Hero MotoCorp approved an equity investment in Zero Motorcycles worth up to US$60 million in September 2022. Zero Motorcycles is the global leader in electric motorcycles and powertrains.    In order to improve the motorbike experience for riders all over the world, Zero Motorcycles merges Silicon Valley technology with traditional motorcycle character.
