Initially launched at Rs. 59,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS), the VX2 is now available at a limited-time introductory price of Rs. 44,990, making it one of the most competitively priced EVs in the market. Under this offer, the VX2 Go can be purchased at Rs. 44,990 with BaaS (down from Rs. 59,490) and Rs. 84,990 without BaaS (down from Rs. 99,490), while the higher-spec VX2 Plus is now available at Rs. 57,990 with BaaS (earlier Rs. 64,990) and Rs. 99,990 without it (previously Rs. 1.10 lakh).

Key features include seamless cloud connectivity with smartphone pairing, providing real-time ride data and analytics, alongside remote immobilization for enhanced security. The scooter also benefits from convenient over-the-air (OTA) updates, a 4.3-inch LCD unit on the base VX2 Go variant, while the VX2 Plus steps up to a sharper 4.3-inch TFT display. Hero Vida VX2: Battery And Range
The VX2 lineup comes in two battery configurations. The VX2 Go is equipped with a single 2.2kWh removable battery, offering a claimed range of 92km per charge. On the other hand, the VX2 Plus houses dual removable batteries totaling 3.4kWh, delivering a higher claimed range of 142km.
Verdict
With this aggressive pricing and a strong features list, the Hero Vida VX2 could be a game-changer in the budget electric scooter segment. However, with the offer available only for a limited time, early adopters will benefit the most from this attractive deal. While Hero hasn't revealed detailed motor specs, the performance is optimized for city use, and the scooter benefits from Hero's existing EV platform knowledge. These price reductions significantly lower the entry barrier for customers looking to switch to electric mobility and strengthen Hero's position in India's highly competitive EV space.
