Triumph Scrambler 400X New Baja Orange Shade Coming Soon

Triumph has pulled the wraps off the 2026 Triumph Scrambler 400X globally, revealing a singular yet striking update: a captivating new Baja Orange color option. This fresh paint scheme features a vibrant orange fuel tank accented by a central silver stripe, subtly incorporating the 'Triumph' emblem. While the majority of the bodywork maintains a black finish, the gleaming golden USD forks and silver front fender introduce a touch of visual flair. This new hue is anticipated to make its way to the Indian market soon.

Mechanically, the Scrambler 400 X remains unchanged, retaining its capable suspension setup with a 43mm USD front fork offering 150mm of travel, complemented by a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It continues to ride on a combination of a larger 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both shod with dual-purpose, block-pattern tyres suited for varied terrains. Feature-wise, the bike is well-equipped with modern rider aids, including a ride-by-wire throttle, a switchable traction control system, switchable dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety, full LED lighting, and a practical semi-digital instrument cluster. A convenient Type-C charging port is also offered as standard, rounding out its comprehensive package.

Powertrain

The Scrambler 400X retains its mechanical setup unchanged, continuing to draw power from a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, the motor also benefits from an assist and slipper clutch as standard, ensuring smoother gear shifts and better control during aggressive downshifts.
Verdict
The 2026 model brings in just this new shade while retaining all the bells and whistels that it currently offers. This new Baja Orange is the same shade that the Speed T4 recieved a few days ago. Other than that, the new colorway introduces more fun to the already capable motorcycle with the buyers soon going to have an expanded selection of shades as per their liking.
