As part of its aim to introduce 8 products, Keeway is on a spree to introduce new products to the Indian market. The company has just introduced the SR 125 retro motorcycle in India for Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). In the past five months, Keeway has released seven products in India. Glossy Red, Glossy White, and Glossy Black are the three colour options available for the Keeway SR 125 at launch. The SR 125 is currently available for online reservations, and the fee is Rs 1,000.

Keeway SR 125 Design

The SR125 features a retro scrambler-style design, a rounded headlight, and huge, telescoping forks that are positioned up front and include a forks gaiter kit. The scrambler-inspired design aesthetic is also replicated on the front fender. The vehicle's butch appearance is additionally enhanced by the single-piece seat and the curved fuel tank. The back profile gets small spherical tail lamp and round inodicators. It also gets a round digital instrument cluster.

The 125cc engine in the SR 125 is capable of 9.7 bhp of power and 8.2 Nm of maximum torque. The 5-speed transmission is connected to the engine. The motorcycle has telescopic coil spring suspension at the back and telescopic front forks. A 300 mm front disc brake and a 240 mm rear disc brake are used for braking. Additionally, it has a combo brake system for stronger stopping force. It has spoke wheels with 110/70-17 front and 130/70-17 rear tyre sizes.

At this price range, the Keeway SR 125 doesn't have any direct rivals. However, bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, Bajaj Pulsar NS 125, Pulsar NS 160, and Honda X-Blade are competitors.

Verdict: The Keeway SR 125 is the ideal motorcycle for individuals who want to own a retro scrambler but don't want to pay a lot of money.
