Kinetic DX Electric Scooter Deliveries Now Underway

Kinetic has officially commenced deliveries of its much-anticipated Kinetic DX electric scooter. First unveiled in July 2025, the e-scooter faced a slight delay in rollout, but customer handovers are now underway following the inauguration of the brand's first exclusive showroom in October 2025. With growing demand, Kinetic is set to accelerate deliveries by opening five additional dealerships this month. Rapid Expansion & Dealer Network Growth

To strengthen its retail presence, Kinetic has already appointed 50 dealers and issued Letters of Intent (LOIs) across major Indian markets, including Pune, Mumbai, Baroda, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Delhi, Gurgaon, and Jaipur. The company's broader vision is to establish 200 dealerships nationwide by FY 2026-27, signaling a strong push toward becoming a mainstream EV player in India's growing electric two-wheeler space. The Kinetic DX pays homage to the legendary Kinetic Honda DX from the past, a scooter that became a household name in its time.

The reinvented model combines that nostalgic design language with a modern all-electric powertrain. Available in two variants, DX and DX+, priced at Rs 1,11,499 and Rs 1,17,499 (ex-showroom) respectively, the e-scooter aims to bridge the gap between affordability, performance, and tech sophistication. Bookings for the DX remain open across all outlets for a token amount of Rs 1,000.

Tech & Features

The Kinetic DX comes equipped with a comprehensive feature package that aligns with modern urban mobility needs. Highlights include full-LED lighting, a large 8.8-inch digital display, keyless ignition, and Bluetooth speakers for on-the-go entertainment.

Adding to its connected technology suite, the scooter integrates Telekinetic connectivity, offering advanced functions such as real-time ride data, geo-fencing, anti-theft alerts, and live vehicle tracking, positioning it as a tech-forward electric scooter in its price range.

Performance, Range, & Charging

Powering the new Kinetic DX is a hub-mounted electric motor that delivers a peak output of 4.8 kW, paired with a 2.6 kWh LFP battery positioned beneath the floorboard for better stability. The setup allows the scooter to achieve a top speed of 90 km/h, with a claimed range of 102 km for the base DX and 116 km for the DX+.

Interestingly, Kinetic claims that using its Cruise Lock function at steady speeds of 2530 km/h can stretch the real-world range up to 150 km on flat surfaces. The scooter also offers three riding modes, Range, Power, and Turbo, catering to different riding preferences and terrain conditions.
