In a recent from the commercial electric vehicle market, Mahindra Treo Zor electric celebrates 1000 sales ever since it was launched just 6 months back. This is a piece of good news in terms of commercial as well as the EV department as the country is progressing towards this shift.
Interestingly, Mahindra Treo Zor Electric is also the largest selling three-wheeler electric cargo in the country with 59% in this segment. This three-wheeler electric cargo is a major shift for the e-commerce industry as they shift to reducing carbon footprints and pollution.
The sales boost took place when 100 units of the Treo Zor Electric was delivered to Amazon to use in 7 different cities. Altogether, the Treo series from Mahindra has covered 40 million kilometres and saved 2200 metric tons of CO2 tailpipe emissions.

The Zor Electric is powered by a 7.37 kWh battery and the charging time takes 3 hours and 50 minutes. It packs in 8 kW of power with a peak torque of 42 Nm. The top speed is limited to 50 kmph and has a gradability of 7 degrees.

The front suspension is handled by Helical Spring + Dampener + Hydraulic Shock Absorber while the rear is Rigid Axle with Leaf Sprig. It features hydraulic brakes for both front and rear and has a mechanical lever-type parking brake.
