The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been updated for MY2026 and launched at Rs 11.69 lakh (ex-showroom). At its core, it remains the same iconic supersport machine, but a few key updates make it an even more appealing package. The bike now features a new Lime Green color option, a 4.3-inch TFT display, and its 636cc engine is now compliant with the latest OBD norms. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
Let's talk about what new in this superfast Japanese motorcycle. First of all, Kawasaki has given it styling update - the ZX-6R face is inspired by the bigger ZX-10R featuring compact LED headlights paired with sculpted front cowl and the whole face appears super aggressive. Also, the main highlight of this bike is its Lime Green colour.
For MY26, the ZX-6R receives a 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via the Rideology app, integrating riding modes and several other enhanced features. Moreover, this motorcycle is now equipped with round brake discs and even its engine has recieved some tweaks to improve it low-end RPM performance and its exhaust note. Lastly, Selectable riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, and customizable Rider mode) that integrate Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) and Power Mode settings.
Apart from these updates, the ZX-6R remains unchanged, powered by a 636cc engine delivering 129 PS and 69 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. The bike is also equipped with Showa SFF-BP suspension, featuring a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Additional features include ABS, traction control, and a quickshifter.

Verdict
This facelift has been tastefully executed, giving the superbike a modern edge. The addition of the new screen was long overdue, and the multiple riding modes will only enhance the riding experience.
