Ola Electric: Muhurat Mahotsav & Limited-Time Benefits

Ola Electric has introduced a short-duration 'Muhurat Mahotsav' during which select units will be available at special festive prices. These offers are time-bound and accessible only during designated purchase windows. Additionally, customers purchasing S1 Pro (3 kWh and 4 kWh) and S1 Pro+ (4 kWh) models during the festive period can opt for an 8-year extended warranty.
Under the Holi Mahotsav scheme, the Roadster X lineup is now priced as follows:
- Roadster X (2.5 kWh) - Rs 79,999
- Roadster X (3.5 kWh) - Rs 92,999
- Roadster X (4.5 kWh) - Rs 99,999
The higher-spec Roadster X+ variants are priced at:
- 4.5 kWh - Rs 1,09,999
- 9.1 kWh - Rs 1,89,000
This pricing move effectively narrows the gap between electric motorcycles and conventional entry-level ICE models, which have historically dominated the commuter space.

Ola Insiders Program Benefits
Ola Electric recently introduced 'Ola Insiders', a dedicated community programme for its existing customer base of over one million users across India. As part of the Holi Mahotsav campaign, members of this community are eligible for additional benefits worth Rs 5,000 during the Muhurat Mahotsav window, over and above their standard incentives. The Insiders programme is structured around three key pillars: upgrade benefits of up to Rs 50,000 for Gen 1 and Gen 2 customers transitioning to the latest Gen 3 S1 scooters or Roadster motorcycles (including 4680 Bharat Cell variants), add-on benefits of up to Rs 20,000 for customers purchasing an additional Ola vehicle, and referral rewards offering up to Rs 5,000 in Ola credits along with cashback for the referred buyer.
Verdict
Given the demand for small urban cars and improving EV infrastructure, there is good scope for new models under the Rs 10 lakh bracket. The Leapmotor T03 might not be the most striking EV, but it ticks all the right boxes as a solution for urban mobility.
Ola Electric's Holi Mahotsav campaign is less about festive sentiment and more about strategic market disruption. By aligning electric motorcycle pricing with petrol-powered entry models, the company is accelerating the affordability narrative around EVs. If supported by reliable after-sales service and real-world performance credibility, which has been an issue sometimes in the past, this pricing shift could significantly expand the electric motorcycle audience. However, long-term success will depend on sustained product quality and ownership experience rather than headline offers alone.
