Ola Electric To Introduce Extreme Fast Charging Technology By Partnering with StoreDot

With the gradual shift of powertrains from fossil fuels to electric, many OEMs are researching upon various possibilities to eliminate the shortcomings so as to make this technology perfect. The public would surely take some time tp adapt to this relatively new technology. Ola electric has recently partnered with StoreDot to introduce an extreme fast charging technology to charge its electric scooter.

StoreDot is an Israel based battery technology company which is all set to introduce this extreme fast charging technology to India. This enterprise has developed its own XFC technology which capable of charging an electric scooter from zero per cent to full in just a matter of 5 minutes. Ola Electric has partnered with Israel-based battery technology company StoreDot to bring extreme fast charging technology to India.

StoreDot's has its research and development operations mainly in the domain of advanced cell chemistry and manufacturing. After the five minutes full charge time, the brand is also working on a technology to develop a 2 minute full charge technology and is expecting to roll it out within the next ten years. In India, Ola Electric would be getting access to the XFC technology for its product lineup.

Ola S1 and S1 Pro have created a lot of buzz in the electric two-wheeler industry, soon after they were first unveiled and have also been a worthy competitor in the EV Of The Year 2022 Award.
