Simple Energy Dot One Launched, Priced At Rs 1 Lakh!

Simple Energy just introduced its newest electric two-wheeler called Simple Dot One. They're giving an exclusive introductory price of Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for customers who pre-booked the Simple One in Bangalore. This offer is available only until stocks last. For everyone else, the regular price will be revealed in January 2024, and it might be a bit higher. You can already book it online if you're excited about hopping on the electric mobility bandwagon.

Simple Energy Dot One: Details!

The Dot One boasts cool features like all-LED lighting, a user-friendly touchscreen, and seamless app connectivity to enhance your riding experience. It's got a bunch of handy functions like a Boot Lamp, Motor Kill & Ignition, Multi-toggle, Reverse, Horn, Indicator, High-Low-Pass Beam, Parking assist, Bluetooth 4.2 Connectivity, Over-the-air updates, Positioning, On-board maps & navigation, Document storage, Connected mobile app, Monthly & Overall ride statistics, and more.

You can pick from four colours  Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue. As a bonus during the introductory offer, the Dot One is also available in LightX and BrazenX colours for those who want more variety.

Powering the Dot One is a 3.7 kWh battery paired with an 8.5 kW electric motor, providing a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features include CBS (Combined Braking System) with efficient disc brakes. There's just one version of the Dot One, and it comes with a fixed battery. It can go for a certified 151 kilometres and 160 kilometres in IDC, making it the E2W with the longest range in its category. Plus, it comes with a 750W charger. Deliveries start in Bangalore and will roll out to other cities in phases.

The Dot One is a sleek electric two-wheeler with dimensions of 1,907 mm in length, 758 mm in width, and 1,170 mm in height. It weighs 126 kg and has a balanced front-to-rear weight distribution of 48:52. The seat height is 796 mm, and it offers a ground clearance of 164.5 mm with a wheelbase of 1,335 mm. The bike has a water wading limit of 300 mm and a boot space of 35 litres.

The Dot One is equipped with specially designed tires to maximize on-road range, and it boasts impressive acceleration, going from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. The 12-inch wheels on both ends, paired with 90-90 tubeless tires, ensure exceptional road performance. Overall, it stands out as the fastest electric two-wheeler in its category.
