Yamaha R3: Details!

The Yamaha R3 is priced at Rs. 4,64,900 and comes in two stylish colours - Icon Blue and Yamaha Black.

Its sleek and agile design draws inspiration from Yamaha's M1 MotoGP. machine, evident in the central air intake. Featuring dual LED headlights and a central air duct, the cross-layered fairing panels enhance cooling airflow for the engine. The bike's distinctive appearance, coupled with aerodynamic race-inspired fairing, is complemented by a Diamond frame.

The aggressive front fairing and a race-type screen, inspired by the iconic R1, give it a striking R-Series identity. The bike boasts a low fuel tank and handlebar position, along with LED flashers both at the front and rear. The YZR-M1-inspired cast aluminium handlebar crown adds a touch of sophistication to this remarkable machine.

The R3 boasts a versatile LCD meter console that effortlessly provides essential details such as gear position, fuel capacity, real-time and average fuel economy. Additionally, it includes a water temperature gauge, clock, oil change indicator, and trip meter, all neatly arranged in a contemporary design. The bike features LED lighting throughout, with a bi-functional LED headlight, wet multiple-disc, and a TCI starter system for a smooth and efficient start.

The bike boasts a length of 2,090 mm, a width of 730 mm, and a height of 1,140 mm. Comfort is ensured with a seat height of 780 mm and a wheelbase of 1,380 mm. Riding stability is maintained with a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm. The bike weighs 169 kg when fully fueled, including oil, and features a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.

The engine of this motorcycle is a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC with 4 valves. It has a displacement of 321cc, delivering a maximum power of 30.9 kW (42.0 PS) at 10,750 rpm, and a maximum torque of 29.5 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The transmission system is a constant mesh 6-speed setup.

For its suspension, it features a telescopic upside-down fork (USD Fork) at the front and a swingarm at the rear. The braking system consists of a hydraulic single disc, 298 mm at the front, and a hydraulic single disc, 220 mm at the rear. The tires are 110/70 R17M/C 54H tubeless at the front and 140/70 R17M/C 66H tubeless at the rear. Additionally, it comes with a dual-channel ABS system for enhanced safety.
