Triumph Speed Twin 900 And Scrambler 900 Breaks Cover In India

Triumph has launched two new motorcycles in the Indian market, the Speed Twin 900 and the Scrambler 900. Both motorcycles now come in new colours and are just renamed variants of the Street Twin 900 and Street Scrambler 900. They both continue to have the same mechanicals and features. The starting price for the Speed Twin 900 is Rs. 8.35 lakh, and the starting price for the Scrambler 900 is Rs. 9.45 lakh.

Triumph Speed Twin 900

The Speed Twin 900 now comes with the same 900cc, Liquid cooled, 8 valve, SOHC, parallel twin engine. The engine has a maximum output of 80 Nm of peak torque and 64.1 bhp of power. It is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. The same tubular steel, a twin cradle frame, telescoping front forks, twin rear springs, it gets cast alloy wheels with an 18-inch front tyre, and a 17-inch rear tyre are among the other components. Both the 310mm front single disc brake and the 255mm rear disc brake are used for braking.

The new Speed Twin 900 gets three new colours: Jet Black, Matt Silver Ice and Matt Ironstone. The Jet Black colour is priced at Rs 8.35 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the other two are priced at Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Scrambler 900

The Scrambler 900 gets the same 900cc motor as the Speed Twin 900. It also provide same power and torque. The Scrambler has spoked rims with a 19-inch front tyre and a 17-inch rear tyre, which is where the difference lies. Both bikes have different weights and seat heights; the Speed Twin 900 weighs 216 kg and has a 765 mm seat height, while the Scrambler 900 has a weight of 223 kg and a 790 mm seat height.

The Scrambler is offered in three colours for the new model: Jet Black, Matt Khaki, and Canvas Red/Jet Black. The price of the Jet Black colour variant is Rs 9.45 lakh. The price of the Matt Khaki colour is Rs 9.58 lakh. The most expensive colour in the lineup is Canvas Red/Jet Black, with a price tag of Rs 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
