Vida VX2

Before any teaser or hint about this scooter, unfortunately, photos of this electric got leaked online, giving us a crystal clear view of how it will look. Still, everything needs to follow a proper procedure, so Vida is following the protocols. Talking about the teaser - in the past few days, two teasers have come out. One shows the VX2 front profile from a right angle, where it is seen in a tangy red paint and its LED headlights, front shroud with black slate that also incorporates LED blinkers. After this, a second teaser was released featuring popular Indian movie stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. In this particular teaser, there is a scene where Ranbir is telling Anil to bring home an EV this time, indicating the VX2 and showing him a photo of the model he is talking about. As the screen moves toward him, the VX2 in a blue shade is seen on his phone.

Expected Features
Vida is expected to equip the VX2 with a battery pack ranging between 2.1 to 2.5 kWh, offering a range of around 100 to 120 km. It will likely feature a touch-based display that provides navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, media controls, and all essential scooter information. Leaked photos reveal a joystick on the handlebar, which the rider can use to navigate the screen. Another notable detail is its traditional key-based ignition system. In terms of hardware, Vida is expected to offer the VX2 with a front disc brake, telescopic front suspension, and dual rear shock absorbers.

Verdict
Vida VX2 is going to be positioned below the V2 and is expected to start at around Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000. It will compete against the Honda QC1, Ola S1 X (3rd generation), and Bajaj Chetak. In terms of styling, it looks like a typical ICE scooter with ubiquitous design elements, as it clearly doesn't offer anything unique. However, this trait might actually work in its favor, considering the V2 hasn't been able to crack the code with its very angular design and several extra styling treatments. Now, let's wait for more reveals, and keep following 91Wheels as we are going to cover its launch on the 1st of July.
