The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 is much more than a routine update to an established 125cc motorcycle. Bajaj has retained the character that made the Pulsar successful while substantially upgrading the mechanical package and technology on offer. The combination of a new engine and gearbox, improved chassis, monoshock suspension and stronger performance gives the Pulsar 125 a more serious motorcycle feel. At the same time, features such as the 5-inch TFT, Google Maps navigation, ride modes and Crawl Tech bring it closer to the expectations of a much more premium motorcycle. At an introductory price of Rs 92,900, the Pulsar 125 makes a strong case for buyers who want a 125cc motorcycle that offers more than basic commuting ability. Its biggest appeal is that it continues to feel like a Pulsar, while being significantly more modern underneath.
