Jeep Avenger Latest Update

Last Updated On 19th Dec'23 : The Jeep Avenger, an SUV, is set to debut in India, with the anticipated launch date in April 2024. Although there haven't been any recent updates, Jeep India is currently offering fantastic year-end benefits on its entire range until December 31, 2023.

The SUV segment in the Indian market is on an all time high and several carmakers are adding this to their advantage. Jeep India too is now considering bringing a smaller compact SUV that rivals the popular Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the upcoming Hyundai Venue.

Engine Details

As of now, nothing is confirmed from the American carmaker but we do expect to keep the prices low, the upcoming compact SUV might share the 1.2L, three-cylinder petrol motor with the Citroen C3. The three-cylinder, turbocharged motor pumps out 109 bhp of power with a peak torque of 190 Nm. It gets mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The possibility of a diesel engine is rare.

Features

We do expect a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two-tone interior, wireless charging, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, TPMS, 360-view camera and more.

Price

Considering the segment, Jeep India will have to price their upcoming SUV at a cut-throat price. We expect the price of the upcoming compact SUV from Jeep India will stick from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

It has good looks and appears to be nicely built to last plus. It will be great SUV for too much traffic cities because of its dimensions but i think mileage will be a concern as Jeep petrol engine will be not that fuel efficient in bumper to bumper traffic.
