2023 Jeep Electric Compact SUV Spied - Crucial Details Emerge!
2023 Jeep electric compact SUV is spied testing globally with near production-ready form. It will use the eCMP platform as used by the Citroen C3.
We at 91Wheels have been consistently reporting about the upcoming Jeep compact SUV. It was spied a few weeks back in China but the pictures were not clear. Also, it did not seem to be production-ready anyhow. Well, here are the latest spy photos of the new 2023 Jeep electric compact SUV. These are taken abroad and the car seems to be taking shape as it gets near production-ready.

2023 Jeep Electric SUV Design
Although the spy car was camouflaged in the typical test-car manner, the overall design is slightly understandable now. It is said to be based on the Citroen C3 used eCMP (Common Modular Platform). This eCMP is developed by FCA & PSA Group which owns the Citroen as well. The main target is to provide support to a large portfolio of vehicles with commonly used parts.
As per the reports we published earlier, the eCMP does not allow for AWD layout. Meaning that the new Jeep electric SUV will be front-wheel drive. Now, talking of the design as spotted; the overall dimensions are kind of C3 size. Platform similarities mean that the design silhouette will also be nearly similar.
The front looks subtle & resembles the Jeep Renegade SUV. There are no sharper edges but the subtle European design lines running all over the bodywork. The test car is camouflaged but the idea we get is that the design is going to be soothing. The slated LED headlights are well supported by the chunky nose design & big air dams at the bottom.
The side profile is also smart & funky with bold body lines. One of the main attractions on the side is the petal-designed diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels. They simply look fantastic & it will be a treat for the owners if these made it to the production car.
Carrying forward the design language at the rear, the single-piece LED taillights are looking very beautiful. The overall design layout as well as the individual elements are designed to grab the attention. This one is going to be a looker for sure. Apart from this, there is no news about the electric powertrain to be used or the driving range it will offer.

Jeep Electric C-SUV Launch & Rivals
As per the reports, the new Jeep SUV is an EV. This means the possible competition is either with the Tata Nexon EV or the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 electric in India.
We are not sure about the exact launch time but the reports suggest that Jeep is aiming for 2023. If the global debut takes place in the first half, the Indian launch won't be much far.
