The EV is built on the E-GMP platform, offering a futuristic design, advanced tech and impressive range. While its India launch remains uncertain, the EV4 has already gained attention for its feature-rich cabin and next-gen charging capabilities.
Design: The EV4 features the brand’s “Opposites United” design with a closed-off grille, vertical LED headlights, and an aggressive air dam. The hatchback has a raked A-pillar and flush door handles, while the sedan gets a notchback-like silhouette. L-shaped LED tail lamps takes its futuristic appeal to the next level.
Interior: The cabin includes a dual 12.3-inch screen setup, a 5-inch climate panel, and physical buttons for key controls. Kia has prioritized practicality with ample storage, a wireless charging pad and a driver-centric layout.
Features: Kia EV4’s key features include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, powered seats with relaxation mode, a sunroof and Level 2 ADAS. The EV4 also supports V2L, V2V, and V2G functionalities.
Powertrain: The EV4 offers two battery options internationally which include a 58.3 kWh pack with a 430 km range and an 81.4 kWh pack with up to 630 km range. Both variants produce 204 PS and support fast charging (10-80% in less than 30 minutes for the base variant and 31 minutes for the top variant).
India Launch and Expected Pricing: While Kia hasn’t confirmed an India launch, trademark filings hint at a possible introduction of the Kia EV4 in our market. If launched, the EV4 will be positioned below the EV6.
