The Mahindra Marazzo is no longer listed on the brand’s official website, strongly indicating that it has been silently discontinued in India. The move comes after consistently poor sales, with the MPV reportedly selling in very low numbers, often under 50 units per month in 2024.

The Mahindra Marazzo received a price hike of up to Rs 43,300 in June 2023, with increases varying across variants. Following the revision, prices ranged from Rs 14.10 lakh to Rs 16.46 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MPV continued unchanged mechanically with its 1.5-litre diesel engine and manual gearbox.

The Mahindra Marazzo is expected to receive a diesel-automatic option soon, with reports suggesting the addition of a 6-speed AMT paired to its existing 1.5-litre diesel engine. This update is aimed at improving convenience and broadening its appeal, as the MPV is currently offered only with a manual gearbox.

The Mahindra Marazzo BS6 petrol variant has been spotted testing ahead of its expected launch, hinting at the introduction of a new turbo-petrol engine for the MPV. It is likely to feature a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol motor producing around 160 bhp, paired with both manual and automatic transmission options, aimed at broadening its appeal beyond the diesel-only lineup

The 2020 Mahindra Marazzo BS6 was launched in India with prices starting at Rs 11.25 lakh and going up to Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. It was offered in three trims, M2, M4+, and M6+, in both 7- and 8-seater configurations, while continuing with a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired to a manual gearbox.
