Mahindra XEV 9S

The Mahindra XEV 9S has received a new Custom drive mode, introduced to address feedback around its overly soft suspension setup and improve overall driving confidence. This new mode allows drivers to individually adjust parameters like suspension stiffness, steering weight, powertrain response, and even climate settings, offering a more tailored driving experience compared to fixed presets.

The Mahindra XEV 9S has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), marking the arrival of the country’s first mass-market three-row electric SUV. It is offered with multiple battery options (59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh) delivering a claimed range of up to 679 km, along with a feature-rich cabin and fast-charging capability.

Mahindra has showcased the XEV 9S ahead of launch, highlighting its premium, tech-heavy cabin and family-focused practicality. It comes with a triple-screen dashboard, panoramic sunroof, and connected car tech, along with advanced features like ADAS and high-end infotainment powered by a Snapdragon chipset.

The Mahindra XEV 9S is set to make its debut on November 27 at the brand’s ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru, marking its entry as India’s first mass-market three-row electric SUV. Built on Mahindra’s INGLO electric platform, the XEV 9S will be positioned as a premium, family-focused EV with a spacious three-row layout.
