Renault Triber Detailed Review
- The all new Renault Triber is here, with a bolder face complemented by a completely new front, new lights and sharper alloy wheels. This MPV was never a bad looking car, but with this facelift, it gets a new life, which will elevate its road presence.
- Specifically talking about the front fascia – it features new-age LED projector headlamps with DRLs and halogen turn indicators. The grille is all-new, finished in piano black, and most importantly, the Triber now gets the new-age Renault logo, which has been tweaked and given a 2D effect.
- Below the grille is a redesigned bumper that appears quite busy, with a lot going on. It gets a black plastic finish with a satin grey skid plate, and LED fog lights positioned at the edges. Additionally, there is another design element that resembles an air vent, but it is closed.
- The side profile remains the same as before, but the design of the 15-inch flex wheels has been updated for a better look. Keep in mind, these are not real alloys or diamond-cut wheels, but plastic flex wheels that enhance the overall road presence.
- Last but not least, the rear profile looks futuristic, thanks to the new LED tail lamps with a 3D-effect light treatment embedded into a smoky-looking background. The tail lamps are connected by a piano black slat, adding a premium touch to the rear profile, with the new Renault logo placed at the center. The bumper is also completely redesigned, but instead of going for a more stylish look, it appears rather basic. However, it continues to feature the same grey skid plate, which complements the overall aesthetics of the new Triber.
Triber body specifications:
| Wheel Size | R14 & R15 |
| Seating Capacity | 7 seaters |
| Ground Clearance | 182 mm |
| Boot Space | 625 liters |

- The Triber continues to offer three-row seating with the same interior layout, but now comes with a new colour scheme. The cabin feels more light and airy. It still offers best-in-class boot space of 625 litres in 5-seater mode, and the third-row seats can still be easily removed when needed.
- Renault claims Triber offers 100 plus seating combinations, and it arrives with more than 35 updates, offering a refreshed and premium driving experience.
- There are plenty of storage spaces in the front row, highlighting the car’s practicality. Even the second and third rows offer good storage options. Lastly, it features new seat fabric - suave black & greige woven upholstery.
- Triber facelift now gets a 8 Inch floating infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
- The steering wheel has been redesigned, now featuring the new Renault logo. It includes cruise control switches on the right side and music controls on the left. Additionally, the 17.78 cm (7-inch) digital MID has been carried over from the previous Triber.
- The car now comes equipped with auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a welcome/goodbye light sequence along with auto-folding ORVMs.
- Talking about safety features, 6 airbags are now standard across all four newly named variants. Front parking sensors are a new addition, and features like ISOFIX child seat anchors and 3-point seatbelts for all seats are now standard as well.
- The new Triber now comes fitted with 21 standard safety features including 6 Airbags, ESP, TPMS, EBD with Brake Assist to name a few.
- Overall, this is a significant step forward in terms of safety, and the Triber now surpasses the Ertiga in features.

| TPMS | Yes |
| Wireless Charger | Yes - Front |
| Ventilated Seats | No |
- The Triber facelift continues with the same 1-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. Gearbox options remain unchanged – a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
- This engine does feel underpowered when the car is fully loaded, and overtaking requires careful planning. However, considering the price point, it’s still acceptable.
- Also, Triber is available with government approved CNG retrofitment kits across the country along with a 3-year warranty. Lastly, the power and fuel efficiency figures of the CNG powertrain is yet to be announced.
