Renault Triber Facelift Launch On July 23: Design Evolution

Renault Triber Facelift Spotted Testing Again, Hints At Newly Designed Front

The upcoming Renault Triber facelift is poised to sport a more refined exterior. Spy images suggest a thoroughly redesigned front fascia, featuring a revised grille that aligns with Renault's newer design language. Expect redesigned bumpers that integrate new, low-set fog lamps and updated air intakes, giving the MPV a bolder presence. There's also speculation of subtly redesigned headlights and tail lamps to complete the refreshed look, something that has been spied earlier. Furthermore, new wheel designs have been observed on test mules, indicating that higher trims could finally receive more stylish alloy wheels, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.

Enhanced Interior and Features

While the interior has remained away from prying cameras during testing, the facelifted Triber is expected to introduce several key enhancements to its cabin. Building on its current foundation, which includes an 8-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and a PM 2.5 air filter, the new iteration might see further additions to boost convenience and comfort. The popular three-row seating layout will, of course, be retained, continuing to prioritize versatile space for occupants. However, the updated feature list will ultimately show up in increased ex-showroom price as well, but its still something that this MPV really needs.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the facelifted Triber is likely to retain its familiar and dependable 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which currently delivers 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. This engine is expected to continue offering both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission options, ensuring a balance of efficiency and convenience. While it remains to be seen if the more powerful 1.0-liter turbo engine from the Kiger will be introduced, the factory-fitted CNG option, currently available, is expected to continue.

Expected Price and Rivals

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is currently priced at Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom). While Renault hasn't announced specific pricing, any notable enhancements to features or interior quality could lead to a minor price adjustment upon its official launch. The refreshed Triber will continue to compete fiercely in the compact MPV segment against established rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Rumion, aiming to solidify its position as a spacious, affordable, and now even more appealing family vehicle.

Verdict

The Renault Triber facelift will give this not so exciing MPV a much needed makeover that is sure to reignite its presence in its space. Althoough it is honored with the tag of being the most affordable MPV in India, it hasn't been able to woo the budget concious buyers in numbers it would have hoped for. While the engine might not be explosive on power front, its sedate character do aids in better fuel economy, a must for those looking to ferry big families but with lower running costs. It is likely to retain its affordable tag, albiet with a minimal price hike to set-off the extra features on offer.
