Massive Dual Curved Displays

The Hyundai Venue now offers a dual 12.3-inch curved display, one for the infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster. In contrast, the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers a 10.25-inch infotainment and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Apart from this, both cars provide wireless connectivity through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Larger screens not only look more high-end but also improve legibility of maps, driver info and connected-car features.

Premium Audio System

For all the music lovers out there, the new Venue now comes loaded with an 8-speaker system powered by Bose. On the other hand, the Mahindra XUV 3XO comes equipped with a 7-speaker system powered by Harman Kardon. For buyers who frequently play music, podcasts or audiobooks in the car, this upgrade is palpable.

Rear Window Sunshades

In the Venue, rear passengers get manually operated sunshades on the rear doors. These help block harsh sunlight and add an extra layer of comfort and privacy. On the other hand, the Mahindra XUV 3XO misses out on this feature.

Ventilated Seats

Ventilated seats are a boon for Indian summers; understanding that, the Hyundai Venue now gets front ventilated seats with the facelift. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Mahindra XUV 3XO doesn't offer ventilated seats, which can be a bummer for many out there. Why does this matter? Adds a premium-feel comfort touch, and for many buyers, it becomes a decisive feature during the hot months.

Front Side Parking Sensors

Parking your car in the tight spots has become a bit easier with the Venue, thanks to the side-parking sensors in addition to front and rear ones. In contrast, the Mahindra XUV 3XO comes loaded with only front and rear parking sensors, which work quite well.

Powered Driver Seat

The Hyundai Venue steps ahead with four-way powered adjustment for the driver's seat, along with manual adjustments for the height. In contrast, the Mahindra XUV 3XO gets a 6-way manually adjustable seat for the driver. With this feature, Venue becomes ahead in the segement.

Tractional Control Modes

The 2025 Venue now features selectable traction control modes: Snow, Mud, and Sand, which fine-tune the engine response and ESC calibration to suit varying surface conditions. In contrast, the Mahindra XUV 3XO skips dedicated traction modes, though both SUVs do offer three standard drive modes for everyday performance tuning.

Paddle Shifters

The automatic variants of the Venue now come equipped with paddle shifters, letting drivers take manual control of gear changes without lifting their hands off the steering wheel. This feature adds a layer of engagement and control, especially for those who enjoy a more spirited drive. In comparison, the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers manual shifts only through the Tiptronic function on the gear lever.

Verdict

With the 2025 update, Hyundai has given the Venue a proper premium push. From larger screens and ventilated seats to paddle shifters and traction modes, the SUV now feels a notch above its rivals in terms of tech and comfort. While the Mahindra XUV 3XO remains feature-rich and value-driven, the new Venue's refined execution and attention to small details make it the more sophisticated choice in the sub-4-metre SUV space.
