Tata Sierra Unvieled

Tata Motors has fully unveiled the Sierra ahead of its global debut in the coming days. Starting with the basics is how it looks. The iconic nameplate now returns in modern clothes with a futuristic appeal. However, design is a polarising aspect; what I like, you might not like, and what you like may not be. The Sierra holds a bold appeal along with its upright stance. Following the trend, the front fascia gets an LED setup along with DRLs connecting both ends.

Moving to the side, you'll notice that boxy design language and a large glasshouse, like the old Sierra. Apart from these, the side profile gets squared wheel arches, complemented by those gloss black claddings. However, this seems to ride on those chunky-looking alloys. Moving to the rear, this one looks round with a sleek LED light bar and a big fat Tata logo in the middle.
Interiors

Stepping inside, you'll be greeted with a triple screen layout, the instrument cluster, the infotainment and another one for the co-driver. This is the bold step in terms of design, which adds to its futuristic appeal. Meanwhile, the light coloured upholstery looks more premium, while the steering remains the same other Tata's flagship models, with an illuminated logo. Overall, it boasts a minimalistic design in the cabin. Although it is expected to come up with a plethora of features but some of the key features include a Panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, ADAS and much more.
Powertrains
Mechanically, the Sierra is expected to offer a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor, 2.0-litre diesel unit from the elder siblings and a 1.5-litre NA petrol unit. Apart from this, following this launch, Sierra is also expected to launch with an EV setup, expected to deliver a range of around 500km.

If priced right, the new Sierra could easily become one of the most exciting comebacks in the Indian automotive scene.
