The Tata Punch CNG retains the same 1.2L dual-CNG powertrain, paired with either a 5-speed manual or, for the first time, an AMT gearbox - making it India’s first CNG SUV to offer a 5-speed AMT. It is well-equipped with features and looks more appealing than ever with its refreshed facelifted design.

Last Updated on 2nd April'24: The Tata Punch CNG variant closely resembles the standard Tata Punch in terms of design. Although there are no recent updates on this CNG model. But, it appears that the company is diligently working on a facelift for the Punch. The first sightings of the test mule have recently surfaced.

Punch CNG Price: The Tata Punch CNG is priced ranging from Rs 7.10 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9.68 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants: Tata Punch CNG is available in 5 variants - Pure, Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Accomplished, and Accomplished Dazzle.

Engine: The Tata Punch CNG is available with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine producing 84 bhp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated with a 5-speed MT gearbox. In CNG mode, the engine delivers 72 bhp of power and 103 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle utilizes twin-cylinder technology with two 30-liter cylinders.

Mileage: The CNG variant has a mileage of 26.99 km/kg.

Dimensions: The Tata Punch has a length of 3827 mm, a width of 1742 mm, and a height of 1615 mm.

Features: The Tata Punch CNG features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with a set of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. Other amenities include automatic climate control, push-button engine start/stop, and automatic projector headlamps, among other enhancements.

Safety: The Tata Punch safety features include DUAL AIRBAGS, ABS EBD, REAR PARKING SENSOR, ISOFIX PROVISION, CENTRAL LOCKING WITH KEY, and BRAKE SWAY CONTROL.

Reliable and Safe

Owning the Tata Punch has been a very good experience. The car feels solid and safe and gives confidence on city roads and highways. Ride comfort, high ground clearance, and handling are very good. Mileage is decent and maintenance cost is low. The build quality feels strong and reliable.
