Tata Punch Facelift

The model featured in these photos is most likely the top-spec CNG variant finished in silver, and it clearly showcases the front fascia, side profile, rear design, interior, and boot space with dual CNG cylinders. In terms of design, the Punch facelift has gained a stronger attitude, with the front end appearing bolder and more imposing than the outgoing model.
While the bumper remains all-plastic, the new design lends the car a more commanding road presence. The projector headlamps positioned at the edges align it with Tata's current design language, while still retaining the Punch's signature styling.

The side profile highlights the new blacked-out 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, which complement the overall silhouette and look impressive. However, since these are not diamond-cut, it suggests that this may not be the absolute top-spec variant. At the rear, the connected DRLs make the car appear wider and more premium, with a design that is somewhat reminiscent of the Tata Altroz's rear styling.

The most interesting part is the interior, which features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, automatic climate control, and a flat-bottom, two-spoke digital steering wheel that has now completely replaced the older three-spoke Tata steering wheel.
Powertrain

Being an i-CNG variant, it is expected to retain the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 73.5 PS and 103 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency of 26.99 km/kg is also likely to remain unchanged, as the overall weight of the car is not expected to change significantly.
Lastly, talking about the colour palette, we expect it to be offered in yellow, red, white, grey, silver, and the signature blue, following the same nomenclature as the new Sierra. Accordingly, the tangy red shade is likely to be called "Bengal Rouge", while the yellow colour could be named "Caramel."

Verdict
The Tata Punch facelift brings meaningful design and interior upgrades that make it feel fresher and more premium, while retaining the practicality and efficiency that have made it popular. With a bolder exterior, a more modern cabin, and familiar, proven powertrains, the updated Punch looks well-positioned to continue appealing to buyers seeking a compact, featur-rich urban SUV.
