Last Update On 8th Mar'25: While the Maybach S-Class is an ultra luxury sedan from the german bran, it continues without any tweraks, Mercedes-Maybach has expanded its ultra-luxury offerings with the introduction of the Night Series variant for the Maybach GLS SUV. Priced at Rs. 3.71 crores (ex-showroom), this new Night Series edition brings a distinctive aesthetic to the GLS, while the Maybach S-Class sedan remains unchanged.
The Maybach S-Class is not just a car; it is more like a luxury yacht, offering a rear-seat experience that surpasses even the Rolls-Royce Phantom. An experience that transports you to your comfort zone in seconds, thanks to two engine options: a V8 twin-turbo and a V12. This vehicle is the first choice of heads of states, CEOs and people at high positions in governments.

Should I buy the Maybach S-Class?
The Mercedes Benz S-CLASS MAYBACH is indeed one of the most luxurious cars that is available in the market. It comes with every bit of precision, and detail and offers a luxurious cabin inside. The rear seats are the most likely place you’ll be sitting and traveling around. Apart from that, if you want to drive it then also it has an option of either going for a V8 engine or a V12 engine depending on your requirements. It has many "MANUFAKTUR" customizations. You can choose them to fit your needs. These include rear-seat folding tables to having champagne flutes with a refrigerator. But if you are looking for other options, then you can consider the Rolls Royce Ghost or the Bentley Flying Spur.
- The design of the S-CLASS MAYBACH is quite similar to the regular S-CLASS. The MAYBACH offers a different design for the front grills with a subtle MAYBACH badge on it. The use of chrome in the front lower part gives a more luxurious look to this version.
- The headlights use digital light technology and have an illumination of up to 500m. It even gets a high beam assist that dims as it realizes there’s oncoming traffic. The hood is quite long since it has to accommodate either a V8 or a V12 engine.
- Coming to the side profile, you can get dual-tone under the MANUFAKTUR trim. It gets 19” Maybach light-alloy wheels as standard and can be upgraded to 20” for an additional cost. - The Mercedes Maybach S-CLASS comes with two categories of engines on offer. The S580 model comes equipped with a V8 powertrain whereas the S680 the top-spec comes with a V12 engine. Both of these engines come with a 48v mild hybrid technology that gives the EQ boost at the time of launch and helps to improve fuel efficiency as well as helps in reducing carbon emissions.
- The V8 engine in the S580 produces a colossal 503 BHP along with 700 Nm of peak torque. This is mated to a 9-speed torque converter which is very slick in shifts and always provides the utmost comfort without any lag.
- In the S680, it comes equipped with a V12 engine that churns out 612 BHP with 900 Nm of peak torque. It also mates to the same 9-speed automatic torque converter. It shifts without hassle and always stays in the right gear.
