Hero Super Splendor 125 has always been a handsome looking motorcycle. With the BS6 update, it has got even better. Upfront, the motorcycle gets a rectangular headlamp with angular layouts and chrome surrounds. From the side profile, the motorcycle looks quite long and it gets new attractive body graphics. It also gets chrome touches on the toolbox and also on the exhaust muffler. The rear profile hasn't changed much and it looks the same as before. It is available in four colour variants: Nexus Blue, Glaze Black, Candy Blazing Red and Heavy Grey.

Honda Shine 125 is also a very good looking motorcycle. The new BS6 Shine gets big chrome surrounds around the angular headlamp. The side profile of the motorcycle is quite appealing as it gets new attractive body graphics. It also gets chrome inserts on the exhaust muffler and a chrome-embellished three-dimensional Honda logo on the fuel tank. Again, the rear profile of the new Shine is the same as before. The BS6 Honda Shine 125 is offered in four colour variants: Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic.

Hero Super Splendor is powered by a BS6-compliant 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor churns out 10.8 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to 5-speed manual gearbox. It also gets Hero's XSens fuel-injection technology that helps in delivering optimum performance and maximum fuel-efficiency. Hero Super Splendor 125 rides on 18-inch tubeless tyres. The front tyre measures 80/100-18 while the rear one is a 90/90 section 18-inch unit. It gets telescopic forks at the front and 5-step adjustable spring-loaded dual shock-absorbers at the rear. Honda Shine also runs on 18-inch HET tubeless tyres. Talking about the verdict, so if you want a slightly more powerful machine with better comfort and good mileage at a relatively lower price, then you should choose the Super Splendor BS6. But, if you want a more refined machine with attractive looks and great mileage, then you should choose the Honda Shine BS6.
