Apart from that, other noticeable design highlights happen to be radiator cowls, full-HED lighting setup, and stylish alloy wheels. The bike is also expected to feature an LCD instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, dual-channel ABS, dual disc brakes, radial tyres, and comfortable seats.
The CB300R is expected to get a revised BS6 compliant engine. The BS4 iteration of the bike used to feature a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that used to churn out 30 bhp and a peak torque output of 27.4 Nm. The power output figures from the BS6 compliant motor are yet to be confirmed by the brand. However, the new version of the bike is expected to feature the same six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The CB300R BS4 was priced from a starting price of INR 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and was brought into the country via the CKD (completely knocked down) route. The brand is however expected to offer a more affordable price tag with the BS6 version of the bike as the bike will now be locally manufactured.
