2022 Hyundai Venue Launched At Rs 7.53 Lakh - Details

Hyundai has finally launched the all-new 2022 Venue at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh. One of the most successful compact SUVs in the segment has now grown in features and gets a subtle design update to match with its rivals. The turbo petrol and turbo diesel engine options start from Rs 9.99 lakh. These are the introductory prices for the Venue and will increase in the coming weeks. It is One India, One Price.

Mechanically, Hyundai Venue continues with the same engine options as before - 1.2L non-turbo petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motor. The 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor generates a peak power and torque figures of 82 bhp and 114 Nm respectively. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only.

The more powerful, 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol motor belts out 118 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 172 Nm. Unlike the older model that received a 6-speed manual transmission too, Hyundai has now axed that and the turbo petrol motor gets mated to a 6-speed iMT as standard and a 7-speed DCT as an option.

The four-cylinder, oil burner makes as much as 99 bhp of power and a peak torque of 240 Nm. This is the same 1.5L diesel that is seen on the Hyundai Creta as well. Unlike the Kia Sonet (its sibling) that receives a 6-speed AT too as an option, Hyundai only offers a 6-speed manual gearbox with the 2022 Venue. There is no diesel automatic as an option currently.

Feature-wise, the 2022 Hyundai Venue gets a powered driver's seat, auto air-purifier, ambient lighting, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cooled glove box, BlueLink technology, cruise control, 2-step rear reclining seat, puddle lamps and more.

Safety features on the new Hyundai Venue include six airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill assist control, vehicle stability management and more.
