The brand has set the introductory pricing for the first 25,000 reservations, which are made in under a minute. The failure to book the Scorpio N at the introductory price left many people disappointed. The Scorpio Classic, which will be released soon, is another version that fans of the Scorpio may still look forward to. Mahindra will release the 2022 Scorpio Classic with a few minor designs and feature improvements. The company wants to capitalise on the Scorpio's standing as a sturdy SUV that is well-liked in rural areas with the new Scorpio Classic.

The 2022 Scorpio Classic has been spotted numerous times, and the majority of the time just the top model was seen. This time, a YouTube user going by the name of The Rajat Vlogs has spotted both the top and base variants of the Scorpio Classic. Both models can be seen clearly in the walkaround video.

2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic

The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic features a redesigned front grille with vertical slats and the Mahindra twin peak logo. In the top S11 variant, the front bumper has a fog lamp, DRLs, and silver skid plates. The top-spec model has slightly modified body claddings and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and turn indicators that are situated on the fenders instead of the ORVMs. Mahindra retained the Scorpio's tall vertical taillamps at the rear.

The new logo is placed on the steering wheel inside, and the colour scheme is beige and black. A touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control are located on the center console, which has a wooden finish. The instrument panel and overall appearance of the cabin are the same as the previous model. Cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls, a multi-information display, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and more features will also be available.

2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic Base Variant

The base model of the upcoming Scorpio Classic will be called the 'S' variant. As compared to the top-spec variant the base variant will get black front and rear bumpers. On the sides it will get black ORVMs, door handles and 15-inch steel wheels. Moving on the inside, it will not get any infotainment system. It will get manual AC controls, all-four power windows and other basic features.

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be mechanically powered by a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. This engine has an available power output of 128 bhp and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. It will be connected to a 6-speed manual transmission.
